Abstract: |
The method using
Object-Oriented Programming Technique to build the geometric model of mechanical systems
is introduced. There are two kinds of objects in the geometric model of a mechanical
system the graphs and the joints(that is, constraints). The basic graph class which has
the common attributes of all graphs is constructed. Then, different graph classes, such as
the box class, the cylinder class, the circle class, and so on, are derived from the basic
graph class. These classes inherit all the attributes belonging to the basic graph class.
The joints are special graphs, so the basic joint class also can be derived from the basic
graph class. All joint classes inherit all the attributes of the basic graph class and the
basic joint class. This method is highly efficient, and easy to realize and to expand. |
