Fish oil contains a high percentage of long chain n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid:eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). In this paper, recent de-velopment in the reseaches regarding the molecular mechanism and the nutritional effect of EPA and DHA are reviewed. |
